Krishna Pushkaram 2016
Last time Krishna Puskarams were celebrated in the year of 2004. After a gap of 12 years it will be celebrated again next year from 12 August 2016 to 23 August 2016. This is a major event for Andhra Pradesh in the capital region of Amaravathi and Vijaywada after bifurcation of the state. More importantly Krishna pushkarm 2016 will be in the new capital area and here the Krishna river flows between Amaravathi and Vijaywada.
After conducting Godavari pushkarlu this year with much success, the government is planning to make krishna pushkaralu 2016 also another grand success. There were some lapses in arrangements during Godavari Pushkaram held during the year which caused huge stampade and causing loss of more than 30 human lives on the first day. As huge crowd is expected for krishna pushkaralu next year, necessary crowd management is a must for smooth and safe conducting of the event for all 12 days.
